Dave moved to San Francisco in the late 1990s. One of the first things he did was buy a wetsuit and board and teach himself how to surf. It’s something he continues to do today either in the local breaks of Northern California or on the occasional trip abroad (all-time favorites: Mentawais, Indonesia, Raglan, New Zealand, and Nowatu, Fiji).

Dave’s wife and two young children continuously challenge and delight him. They root for Belichick and the New England Patriots.

Dave is an Edmund Hillary Global Impact Fellow.

Dave received a B.A. in Economics from Harvard University and an M.B.A. from the Stanford Graduate School of Business.
